Allison Stokke is an 18 year old pole vaulter who’s reaching celebrity status online for being American, active, and decent looking. Currently a senior at Newport Harbor in Orange County, CA she plans to attend Berkeley when she finishes high school.
For 10 years, she was also a gymnast!

Leave the girl alone man, I don’t get it, she’s obviously got potential to be an Olympian, and I read an article in the newspaper about her down here in Australia, where they didn’t mention her PB or anything, just that she was “famous for being pretty”. It seems ridiculous to me that track and field is so disrespected that only when either a doping scandal breaks out, or a pretty girl does well in the sport do we get media coverage.
I wish her all the best in her track career, and this unwanted attention isn’t helping at all, but its the way of the world I suppose and I just hope she keeps vaulting and doesn’t stop because of this. Just remember, all the attention is of a superficial nature anyway, so it doesn’t actually MEAN anything…

I wouldn’t worry about America’s idea of morality. Can’t trust the judgments of a country which is slave to its own medical industry. (Unhappy? Tired? Maybe you need this medication!) What’s the legal age there, 25 or something? This isn’t a Jean Benet, Kelly — she’s 18, a young WOMAN who can think for herself, and damn fit. Which is exactly what nature seeks out in a partner. Will say though, (1) it’s an insult for the media to say she’s “famous for being pretty” — she’s earned her skills and shouldn’t be accused of succeeding in sport just because she’s attractive. (2) Hopefully she will be able to stay focused on her goals in athletics. You don’t get the chance to do this later in life, and it’d be a damn shame to throw it away or lose the edge because of some stupid romance.

okay seriously you guys this is ridiculous. The poor girl! I am a polevaulter as well and you clowns have taken this to the extreme. She is just trying to make something of her track career and everyone is going nuts over how hot she is. Do you creeps even realize that she has never taken a revealing photo or done anything riske at all? She is just a normal high school/college pole vaulter.
