Brandon Routh
Starring in the recent movie Superman Returns, Brandon Routh was virtually unknown until now, starring in various minor TV roles. According to Wikipedia, director Brian Singer “spotted [Routh] after he viewed Routh’s videotaped audition. Singer was impressed by Routh’s resemblance to the comic book icon and found the actor’s humble Mid-western roots perfect for the role, as well as his “combination of vulnerability and confidence” that Singer said reminded him of Christopher Reeve.”
Here, Superman’s eyes are brown compared with blue. To foster the All-American image, Brandon, who is naturally dark eyed, had to wear blue contacts in this photo.

I loved the new superman, as in the man not the movie. Brandon Routh was so hot in it!! I got home and couldn’t really remember anything except Brandon Routh. Apparently they had to digitally reduce his “bulge” it was getting really hot in that theatre… or was that just me…?

You know what’s halarious?My cousin has a boyfriend she calls “superman” because he is like obsessed with superman before the movie came out, so then superman returns did and hes like “OMFG we gotta see that!!” so we did. i guess you had to be there. wow, im a big fan of brandon routh…. more than anything else he’s a hero for me…. he continued the legacy of every superman to inspire not just the kids but everyone. Superman is an icon of Strength, hope, selflessness, humility and courage….. and thanks to him that he is able to uphold it… he is amazing…..

Hi im chelsea and of cause im just another big fan of yours. Iv only just seen Superman Returns, i think that you did a really great fantastic job at it and i hope you enjoyed making it. I know that every girl saids this and you proberly get really anoyed by it but yes i do think your very hot in the movie and its the first time that i have ever herd of you.
