I don’t mind at all that Koda’s willing to up the sexiness in her videos by several notches, dance in thong bikinis or whatever, b/c she’s actually TALENTED as well. Some of her songs are pretty cool, and her videos are just amazing for their quality and their artistic aspect. Her sexiness just brings in more viewers. She’s without doubt one of the top 3 sexiest singers I’ve ever seen, probably the sexiest. Her outfits, those lips– those, how else to describe, those full BJ lips she’s got when she puts that hot lipstic, on to accentuate them, those 8 inch spiked heels she’s always in, those seductive long nails like a vampire vixen or something, she is HOT beyond description.
As for Japanese babes in general, they’re beautiful overall, Kumi is in a special class but there are a lot of hotties there. Japanese babes, for me, are up there with Swedish babes, maybe the beautiful blond exotic women in eastern Germany and those Eastern European countries and places. Japanese women are elegant and sultry at the same time. Most of the Chinese and Korean singer babes are total hotties too, and they’ve got smokin’ **** women there too (Taiwanese babes are hot, Chinese babes with J-Pop style), but Japanese women are off the charts.
I love BoA and Kumi, they’re both talented, and as for the people who don’t like them or one of them, who cares what you think. Boyakasha!!!!

Unite!’s cover art she was laying on the sand, there was no sign of breats. The only hint you would see that she was even topless was because of her back. While LOVEppears is something to question and compare to the first few pictures.
To me Kumi is taking every chance to show herself off. Her first Best album was another example. I never said or even hinted that i thought Kumi was a ****, comparing her to CA is vulgar.
I do not like nor dislike Kumi, she is young, talented and ****. But she is a role model to thousands of younger people. I just think she needs to re-think the way she presents herself to the public.
We met Kumi on the set of her new video in Australia just the other day, and what a pleasant person she is! She took time out to speak to some Australian students of japanese language, and spent time playing with the children of the owners of the property where the shoot was happening. She chatted with us and was lovely. A real star. And beautiful.
There’s a lot of hatin goin’ on here. I like Koda Kumi. Her songs are somehow addicting and have a dance-rap-reggae feel to them, like Heat. She’s pretty, too. Sure she has some flaws, but foreign women always look better to the general public. I don’t know who boA is, so I can’t comment. I can’t believe anyone here is hatin’ on Koda Kumi. Yeah, we all know that it’s other people writing her songs and coming up with the ideas for the videos– big deal, so what? I give props to Kumi’s songwriters, but it’s Kumi who has to go up there and perform the songs, choreograph the dances, run the videos and make the whole thing work. I give her credit, she sings decently and she seems to be awfully sweet in person.
Oh yeah, I almost forgot the most important factor for really, really liking Kumi Koda– SHE’S SO ****. She’s hot, as in make you breathless hot, as in– dude, she’s just beautiful, and so what if she bumps up the sexiness factor a couple notches in her videos? She’s never tasteless, just wildly seductive like an enchantress, like in DDD, Shake It, Kiseki and all her others. Her videos are creative and artistic– eye candy as well as ****.
Not only is she gorgeous, but Kumi ramps up the sexiness factor with her **** costumes and the way she dances in ‘em. It takes a special talent to be up there in a string bikini like those **** costumes she wears, and 8″ stiletto heels– and to *still* be able to dance with such ability.
Koda Kumi is **** in so many other ways I don’t know where to start. Those full lips she has especially when she has lethal red lipstick on, and those nails, those **** long nails that she decks up in so many different ways– if anything she’s intimidating as **** as she is, she’s like some alluring, dangerous, vampy Asian seductress luring you into her lair, like i know some of us Anglos and Anglo-Americans fantasize about.
I’m a big construction-worker type dude but i wouldn’t mind being lured into her lair, having her tie me down, strip down to my underwear, whisper sweet Japanese seductions into my ear and just ravish me all night with those long nails she has

Hah, that’s funny because a couple of my friends was talking about Kumi like that too, I guess she seems to have that effect on horny white American guys. At the very least, she’s probably doubled interest in Japanese language tapes in a significant part of the US
Seriously, that’s where Kumi prolly makes her most original contribution. She doesn’t write her own music or song lyrics– she does sorta choose among the J-Pop R&B riffs but it’s different songwriters who come up with them. And altho she does have some input into the videos, it’s mostly other people including that guy who manages her concerts, who write, produce and direct them. But Kumi’s the one who decides on her style and she comes up with the dances– and the outfits, including her general look and appeal and that’s what she’s marketing.
Yeah, Kumi has the whole Asian Siren thing down to a T. It’s about her video themes and those exotic dancer costumes and spiked heels she wears and dances in and especially those long nails that she varies and how she uses them. Not just the nails themselves. Ayumi Hamasaki and the outrageously beautiful Taiwan Chinese babe Jolin Tsai–can’t believe how gorgeous Jolin is– have the **** long nails look too but still, they’re still more like the girl next door in most of their videos. Kumi OTOH is the vamp, an Asian succubus babe with nails like talons teasing you into her grasp, just like in Kiseki and that vid she did with Soulhead like the Christina Aguilera/Pink video. It’s funny cuz I bet Kumi *knows* that a lot of American guys fantasize about an Asian hottie like this, so she casts herself like that.
She’s like the Dragonbabe theme only even sexier the way she changes it around so much. In fact, I heard that in one of her upcoming videos she’s in lingerie and a thong, spiked heels, and she suggestively tickles a ***** and a banana with her clawlike long nails and even does in fact, tie a guy up (American perhaps?) and stroke him in the vid, so **** it hurts.
Funny thing, is that she has some pictures when she’s out of her performer get-up and she’s actually cool. She’s down to earth and all that, and she really is damn cute, flat-out gorgeous. I’ve got them myself. If I remember right, they are all part of the album art of her 2005 album, which I think is called “Cutie Honey”.
I bought it in Asia, and it was a CD+DVD edition… Both CD & DVD arts are BIG Hearts with styles as Pink heart + white background, and White hearts with pink background…
The very exposive photos of her are the “BONUS” for her fans…
The pages of the “Bonus” are sealed and made as part of the album art booklet.
Just imagin that you got those pages right after the lyric pages, but the pages are connected (aren’t “Cut” as being sealed), so you can’t flip them normally without cutting the pages open…
They are really great, but I didn’t bother to cut them, since I don’t wanna ruin it.
I gotta say, it was one of the best albums I bought, besides her photos, her songs in that album were awesome… I listened to it over and over… except the last one:”It’s a small world”… it sounded cheesy… =_=|||
The MV were very awesome… you got a menue with the CD intro as the background music, and you have about 6-8 MVs from the album… some of them are the Album Ver.
Nontheless… they are great, in widescreen format (At least some of them) and I think it’s money VERY WELL SPENT!!
I give her an overall 4.8 out of 5 for this album. ^_^

Kouda Kumiko was the first girl born to the Koda family in a number of generations. It was the strong support of her grandfather (who taught her Japanese bamboo flute) and her mother (who taught Japanese harp) that helped Koda become a success. For some reason, J-Pop fans are the nastiest when it comes to tolerating different artists. If you dislike an artist, you don’t have to go on completely trashing them, especially if you know their fans will be reading your comments. That’s considered flaming because you’re just looking for a fight, and if it gets too personal it could lead to attorneys getting involved and so on. The point is, it’s not nice to trash other artists. You can have your opinion, but if you use inappropriate statements directed to harm the victim, you could be charged with libel. First things first. Kuu is not a **** and she’s a very beautiful and **** young lady. Second thing. She writes ALL of her lyrics. And lastly and most importantly, she is basically an angel. For all those who don’t appreciate her music and her lyrics why emphasize your opinion on what you dislike about her? Waste of your time and most importantly ours. I find that Kuu is one of the rare artists who actually is really true to herself and she isn’t another one of “those” singers. I’d like to think her as the Christina Aguilera of Japan, anyone who thinks otherwise go right ahead but my reasons being are that they both have powerful voices and they both got through the music business the hard way. I was a hardcore BoA fan before but now to me, it seemed like her fame came too easily to her. Although I do like her music too, I prefer an artist who needed to run that extra mile to get where they are now. To me BoA was just pure talent, but Kuu was a diamond to be found under thousands of layers of rock. Other than talent, her looks don’t all depend on makeup. For those who complained about her applying too much on, look at all those other girls who put on inch-thick layers of eyeliner or lip gloss. Face it guys, if all girls in the world never put on makeup, a lot of you would be considering to be single for the rest of your lives. I’d love to go on about Kuu but no one would read this =] I doubt anyone would be reading this anyways XD If any of you guys are and is actually interested in a discussion about Kuu, I’d be glad to start a meaningful conversation about her anytime.
I like Koda Kumi’s music a lot, but I cannot see why a lot of you deny her being a ****. I mean, sure, maybe she as a person is not a ****. But the way she presents herself is ******. She does use her body to sell albums. Although, that doesn’t change if she herself is a good or bad person, or if her music is good or bad. But she doesn’t need to sell her body to sell her music, so why does she? Because she wants to, and that could be because she either A. is a ****, or B. was told to sell her body. Now, if she was told to sell her body, she obviously agreed to doing it… so… make your own conclusions.
But regardless, Kuu makes great music, and I DO like her and am NOT bashing her.
And BoA is also a great artist so I don’t see why people are bashing her.. plus the fact she has nothing to do with this entry on KODA KUMI.

And to kaleigha’s comment…all female musicians, artists, singers and songwriters sell their bodies to some extent. and you really cannot deny that. (Beyonce, PINK, Madonna, Koda, Hamasaki, and yes, even BoA….they ALL do.)

Trust me the vast majority of us guys in the USA (American and otherwise) do NOT think that Asian women “look the same,” like the idiot on this forum (and a few other idiots) does. One of the things that’s attracted me and fascinated me about Asia is the diversity of the place and the *individuality* and creativity of the people there.
And those stereotypes, really are not something I’ve encountered much even at a subtle, subconscious level. Maybe it varies from person to person, but all that submissive/geisha **** is long gone as far as being a strong cultural meme. When I and most of my friends think of East Asian culture today, what we see is cultural creativity and efflorescence– esp in Japan and Korea and increasingly in China/Taiwan as well– and technical competence.
Yes, a lot of us really do find Japanese/Chinese women to be exceptionally beautiful, but ultimately it’s an individual thing and it has more to do with our personal interactions than old, dumb stereotypes. Most of my White buddies who’ve dated East Asian women also have dated Caucasian and Latina women. My fiance, actually, is a wonderful woman of German-Dutch ancestry– although I have dated many Asian women in the past and still find Japanese women in particular to be bright and exceptionally beautiful in general. I’ve even learned some Japanese in the past (though I suspect that in 20 years or so, we’ll all be having to know some Chinese).
BTW, as for Koda Kumi herself– she is **** beyond most guys’ wildest fantasies, and I think she’s a great musician too. Her outfits, video settings, her long nails and her whole persona just add to her mystique. Honestly one of the best and sexiest entertainers out there.
