Trust me the vast majority of us guys in the USA (American and otherwise) do NOT think that Asian women “look the same,” like the idiot on this forum (and a few other idiots) does. One of the things that’s attracted me and fascinated me about Asia is the diversity of the place and the *individuality* and creativity of the people there.

And those stereotypes, really are not something I’ve encountered much even at a subtle, subconscious level. Maybe it varies from person to person, but all that submissive/geisha **** is long gone as far as being a strong cultural meme. When I and most of my friends think of East Asian culture today, what we see is cultural creativity and efflorescence– esp in Japan and Korea and increasingly in China/Taiwan as well– and technical competence.

Yes, a lot of us really do find Japanese/Chinese women to be exceptionally beautiful, but ultimately it’s an individual thing and it has more to do with our personal interactions than old, dumb stereotypes. Most of my White buddies who’ve dated East Asian women also have dated Caucasian and Latina women. My fiance, actually, is a wonderful woman of German-Dutch ancestry– although I have dated many Asian women in the past and still find Japanese women in particular to be bright and exceptionally beautiful in general. I’ve even learned some Japanese in the past (though I suspect that in 20 years or so, we’ll all be having to know some Chinese).

BTW, as for Koda Kumi herself– she is **** beyond most guys’ wildest fantasies, and I think she’s a great musician too. Her outfits, video settings, her long nails and her whole persona just add to her mystique. Honestly one of the best and sexiest entertainers out there.

In any case, I love her music videos, although I think she should move away from hip-hop/ western pop influenced music and do something different……maybe incorporate DnB

And to kaleigha’s comment…all female musicians, artists, singers and songwriters sell their bodies to some extent. and you really cannot deny that. (Beyonce, PINK, Madonna, Koda, Hamasaki, and yes, even BoA….they ALL do.)

And BoA is also a great artist so I don’t see why people are bashing her.. plus the fact she has nothing to do with this entry on KODA KUMI.
